There are reports of issues with the April 2019 patch Tuesday update causing Windows to boot and run slow. The issues appear to be related to Windows 7, 8.1 and Windows 2012 server machines and anti virus from Sophos, and Avast. See Beta News and Windows latest for more information.
The latest update was made available yesterday (30th April), Windows 10 April 2018 Update. So I decided to install this on one machine, which took in total over 4 hours to achieve from start to completion.
